Ms Shaldine Wang is the Chief Executive Officer of the Manager.
Ms Wang has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, financial management and investments. Prior to this, she was the Portfolio Director of Elite Partners Capital ("EPC") and was principally responsible for the acquisition and operation of Elite UK Commercial Fund.
Prior to joining EPC, Ms Wang was the Head of Projects at Sime Darby Real Estate Management Pte. Ltd., where she was responsible for investments and development opportunities for the Sime Darby Property private fund from October 2016 to May 2018. From November 2012 to February 2016, she was the Group Finance Director of China Huarong Energy Company Limited, a shipbuilding, energy exploration and production and offshore engineering company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, where she was in charge of the finance-related activities of the Exploration & Production and Offshore & Marine business units.
Before that, Ms Wang was the General Manager (Finance) of Pacific International Lines Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-incorporated shipping company, where she was responsible for the treasury function. She was also the Chief Financial Officer of PST Management Pte. Ltd., the trustee-manager of SGX-ST-listed Pacific Shipping Trust, which was sponsored by Pacific International Lines Pte. Ltd. Ms Wang also served as the Head of Investment at Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Limited, the manager of Cambridge Industrial Trust (currently known as ESR-REIT), from October 2007 to March 2011 where she was responsible for portfolio investment, divestment and built-to-suit activities.
Ms Wang holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Guelph, Canada and a Master of Arts in International Financial Analysis from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
Mr Joel Cheah Zhuo Yue is the Chief Financial Officer of the Manager.
Mr Cheah is responsible for the finance, capital management, treasury and tax matters of the REIT, as well as working with the management team to formulate strategic plans for the REIT in accordance with the Manager’s stated investment strategy.
Mr Cheah has over 12 years of experience in finance and investments. Prior to this, he was the Finance Director of Elite UK Commercial Fund.
Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance of Eagle Hospitality REIT Management Pte. Ltd., the manager of Eagle Hospitality Trust, where he was responsible for the oversight of the preparation of statutory accounts, co-ordination with external auditors, managing tax affairs and treasury matters, and the preparation of performance reports for investors and regulators. Before that, he was with a proposed REIT manager and a proposed trustee-manager seeking potential listings of a REIT and a business trust respectively on the SGX-ST, where his responsibilities included treasury, financing and investor relations.
Mr Cheah also served as the Treasurer at Cambridge Industrial Trust Management, the manager of Cambridge Industrial Trust (currently known as ESR-REIT), where he was responsible for treasury, financing and portfolio risk management.
Mr Cheah holds a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Master of Science (Real Estate) from National University of Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr Jonathan Edmunds is the Chief Investment Officer of the Manager.
Mr Edmunds has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, focusing on real estate investment and management across various sectors globally, and capital raising. Prior to this, he was the Investment and Asset Management Director of Elite Partners Capital, where his key responsibilities included acquisition and asset management of the Elite UK Commercial Fund.
From April 2015 to June 2019, Mr Edmunds was the Director of the Real Estate department of AEP Investment Management Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based investment management company specialising in cross-border real estate investment. At AEP Investment Management Pte. Ltd., he was responsible for the strategic investment and transaction management for AEP Investment Management Pte. Ltd.’s UK, Australia and Singapore mandates. He was also a lead manager of Basil Property Trust, a global office investment fund with assets in Singapore, Australia and the UK, and was responsible for investments, fund acquisitions and structuring.
Mr Edmunds worked in the UK and Switzerland prior to joining AEP Investment Management Pte. Ltd.. From December 2012 to February 2015, he was the Vice President of the Real Estate department in Beaumont Partners where he was responsible for fund raising, acquisitions, structuring, reporting and managing the Global Residential (Multi-family, Student Housing, Development, Care Homes, Serviced Apartments) investment strategy, as well as the analysis, structuring and closing of the company’s UK, European, Canadian and United States assets for credit income, residential, serviced apartment and care home strategies.
From June 2009 to November 2012, Mr Edmunds served as the Director of the Real Estate department of WW Advisors Ltd, a real estate investment management firm in the UK, where he managed a US$250 million equity mandate to acquire income-producing assets in the UK and Europe. He originated and managed the acquisition of a portfolio of assets as well as structured and arranged the debt capital, implemented interest rate hedges and managed asset performance for the portfolio.
From October 2007 to January 2009, Mr Edmunds was an Associate with Lazard, a Corporate Finance Advisory firm in the UK, and from July 2004 to September 2007, he was an Associate of Deutsche Bank AG’s Real Estate Debt Markets department.
Mr Edmunds graduated from University of the West of England with a BA (Hons) Business Studies. He also holds a Master of Arts in Property Valuation and Law from The City University located in London, UK.
Ms Charissa Liu is the Manager, Investor Relations of the Manager.
Ms Liu is responsible for facilitating timely and effective communication, as well as building and maintaining relations with unitholders, potential investors, analysts and the media. She provides strategic counsel and insight to senior management on investor sentiment and industry conditions.
Ms Liu has over 10 years of experience in investor relations, asset management, corporate communication, brand management and research. Prior to this, she was the Manager, Investor Relations and Asset Management of FEO Hospitality Asset Management Pte. Ltd., as manager of Far East Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust, where she was the point of contact for the investment community, responsible for developing investor confidence through clear communication. She was also involved in the strategic asset and performance management of the hospitality portfolio, as well as compliance management for the company, ensuring regulatory requirements were met.
Prior to that, Ms Liu held various roles in SATS Ltd. where her most recent position was in the public affairs and branding unit. Her responsibilities included investor relations and the building of effective media coverage and publicity for the company. Before that, she was with a boutique independent financial advisory firm where she was responsible for brand management, and a global market research company where she had conducted research projects.
Ms Liu holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the Singapore Management University, with majors in Marketing and Corporate Communications.
